Metra train strikes, kills pedestrian in Lawndale
A man, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was sitting on the tracks in the 3500 block of West Odgen Avenue just before 9 a.m. when he was struck by the train, said Chicago Police Officer Michael Sullivan, a department spokesman.
