L.A. replaces parking pay stations with state-of-the-art meters

Sixteen kiosks in Larchmont area are removed after motorists complain of lines. Officials may replace the remaining 320 parking stations.Drivers lucky enough to find a parking space along a popular commercial stretch of Los Angeles' Larchmont Boulevard will no longer have to search for a pay station and remember their space number.
